Holoflash is a prismatic flake that changes color dramatically when
moved. It looks stunning in stage lighting situations but is difficult to
photograph well, and the color shifting can't be fully appreciated in
a still photo.(A paint chip sample is available by request.) It looks
best under directional lighting like stage lighting, and the effect is
most pronounced when light hits the suface at an angle. That's
why the side angle image (right) is so much more vivid than the
straight front view (left). As the performer moves around on
stage, the violin changes through all the colors of the rainbow,
creating a visual effect the audience will definitely appreciate.
Plan on allowing several months extra delivery time for any
sparkle finishes like Holoflash as these are complicated to apply.
