Heavily quilted maple top solidbody electric guitar with swamp ash body and rock maple neck with ebony fingerboard. Specialized features include a steam bent tilted back peghead avoiding the characteristic weakness of sawn or joined tilt back pegheads. This design utilizes a finger jointed neck thru body core so that the bridge is mounted to swamp ash for a sparkling tone, but the neck feathers into the body like a conventional  neck thru body design without the bulkiness associated with bolt on or glued in neck designs. The control cavity is rear routed so that the beauty of the quilted maple top is not disturbed.
